Famous for its so many health benefits, tamanu trees (Calophyllum inophyllum) grow in Indonesia and other southeast Asian countries and the Indian sub-continent.

The health benefits of the pure organic oil, extracted by cold pressure from the ripe fruit of the Indonesian Calophyllum Inophyllum include: killing parasites and bacteria on animal skin and bacteria on human skin, curing injuries. A lot of medical and other health research reports have demonstrated the benefits.

Myristic acid hydrates dry skin, gamma linolenic acid (GLA) doubles the moisturization level, and GLA’s calophyllide, a neoflavonoid, is anti-inflammatory and advances wound healing

Supreme grade Tamanu oil: while the skin contains oil, we extract only the oil from the kernels, as the oil from skin is too acidic and, therefore, has much shorter shelf life and medically less beneficial.
The sample below was produced by us about three years ago. It is more fragrant and its healing properties are stronger than the newly produced oil. Our research findings and interviews with trial subjects confirm that this oil has a shelf life of more than five years at room temperature.

The supreme grade Tamanu oil above is produced by BDA Group, employing the cold-pressure method in Sumatera, Indonesia.
